Goodnestone Park Gardens Near CANTERBURY Jane Austen visited Goodnestone on many occasions, for her brother Edward married a daughter of the house and subsequently came to live nearby. In a parkland setting, this 14 acre garden includes a small arboretum, woodland area, shrubbery and walled garden with a parterre, collections of old fashioned roses, clematis and many herbaceous plants.
