THE ANCHOR, ROWHEDGE

The Anchor at Rowhedge is in the most stunning location on the banks of the River Colne. This pub has a unique riverside setting with private moorings for yachts and cruisers and the terrace is perfect for al fresco eating and drinking.

The Anchor is open for food and drink at lunchtimes and evenings and all day on Sundays. The menu, which is changed daily, consists of traditional English food and classic European dishes. Fresh fish is obviously a house speciality and a selection of mouthwatering snacks are also served alongside Shepherd Neame's award winning ales.

The Anchor benefits from a conservatory overlooking the river and there is a private dining room that can accommodate up to 12 people for meetings or private functions. We can also cater for Weddings and Christenings.

This beautiful riverside setting is just a 5 minute drive from Colchester town centre and really is worth a visit.
