The Sun Inn, Faversham * * * . This 15th Century pub just five minutes walk from the brewery has been the meeting place for the town's gentry for centuries. Situated in the heart of the Faversham conservation area, the pub has 9 comfortable en-suite bedrooms, a superb beer garden, restaurant and bar.
The New Flying Horse, Wye * * * *. Romans, Saxons and the 17th century smugglers have all left their mark on Wye; a historic village set in some of the most beautiful countryside in the Garden of England. The drive from Faversham to Wye is around 11½ miles and takes less than half-an-hour. The New Flying Horse, a 17th century posting house with oak beams and gleaming brasses, has 9 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. Some of the rooms are in a converted coach house.
